We at CASE would like to wish all our supporters the blessings of a very happy and safe Christmas.
Most of us long for peace, perhaps especially at this time of year, when the heavenly peace we sing of in Christmas carols feels all too distant from the earthly frenzy we experience in Christmas preparations. Our next issue of Case Magazine will explore the idea of peace in different contexts: in our relationships, in the busyness of life, and in children’s literature. We also ask whether there limits on holding our peace, and how we are to live as peaceful aliens in a potentially hostile world. This issue will be out early in the New Year, so watch out for some great holiday reading.
If you are not a subscriber, you can purchase individual issues of Case magazine here, or a subscription here to receive our Peace issue, and the subsequent three issues.

The Case quarterly seminar entitled ‘Finding truth in the climate change debate’ hosted at the NCV on November 12 was a successful event. Dr John Quinn presented his paper, and there was a very insightful Q&A and discussion session after his presentation. It was great that a few of our newer Case subscribers attended the evening, and that we were able to meet them. We plan to host similar seminars during 2013, and we will keep you posted with details for any event.
John’s article is currently available online for reading here.
Regular twitter followers (@AndJustInCASE ) would know that Stanley Hauerwas has been chosen to present the 2013 New College Lectures.
